I’ve been looking for a place in Philadelphia to rent for the past two weeks and started communication with this company to coordinate touring the properties and filling out applications. I scheduled a touring today at 3:20 PM which got canceled within 20 minutes of the time the property was supposed to be toured, mind you I live in South Jersey and had already driven 45 minutes to get to this property. Claudia told me that there was another property nearby that was being shown at four, which I drove to and arrived 15 minutes early only to call 10 minutes past the showing time and I was told that that tour was also canceled. It’s hot, I wasted gas, and there were three other people who were also coming to view the property. This is the most blatant form of unprofessionalism I have ever dealt regarding a real estate group. You guys really need to do better whatever the case, whatever the reason is these tours are getting canceled, you need to figure it out because it’s a waste of people’s time and you’re showing that you don’t care about potential renters at all.
I have rented from their property for the past two years and it has been terrible. When i moved in there were no smoke detectors, no fire extinguishers, the screens were either missing from the windows or had huge holes in them. My bedroom window also has a crack from the outside which i have had to tape so cold air does not get it but it also does not secure and slides down. All of which i was told would not be fixed due to “the landlord not wanting to put anymore money into the apartment”. It wasn’t until the recent fires on the news that they made an effort to come install smoke detectors in my apartment and they even took over a week. There have been multiple leaks from the roof into my bathroom and leaking to the first floor which have caused major damage. I have made several attempts to connect with the property manager and they take days to respond. They only send out Spanish speaking contractors and In many cases they have had to call someone to translate in English. The last contractor that came out informed me that there are issues with the pipes and now they are trying to flip it and say I am overflowing the bathroom multiple times in the two years i have been here. There is never a follow up stating the conclusion of each contractor visit and a few weeks ago no one even reached out to say people would be coming to my home. When addressed they stated “oh they forgot to email or call me” and then asked for me to let the contractor in while i was trying to leave for work. They are very unprofessional and will try to get out of paying for the damages they should’ve fixed before renting.
This really estate group deserves to have all of their licenses taken away. For two years they have been terrible at communication, have been slow to make repairs and didn't even have a mailbox and smoke detectors on the property when I moved. I've been dealing with trying to get them to make a visit out to my property for over a month to assess water damage and they have refused.
If you are looking for a company who is straight forward, honest and helpful every step of the way, dont look any further. Very educated and friendly staff. We worked with Rose and the million questions we had throughout the whole process of buying our first home she answered without issues. Words cant compare to how grateful and happy our family is with all the help, specially during these crazy times.
I’ve been living in one of their properties for 6 months. A property that wasn’t painted prior. And imperfections that thy claim were going to fix. Never did. Whenever you file a complaint about the property they don’t come, nor chart it in the notes. And expect you to fix it and threaten to take it from your security deposit. They don’t return calls. Not worth the headache
