Chris Hoeksema is an incredible realtor. He helped us buy our first home without any pressure. He went above and beyond working to find us the perfect house and was very knowledgeable, professional, and realistic. He walked us through everything we needed to do and set up multiple showings. Buying a home is always a stressful process…exciting yes, but still stressful. You add to that regular expected stress how tight the Grand Rapid’s market is and it is enough to make someone not want to step into that process.
Enter Chris Hoeksema.
Chris filtered out the good from the not so great, not even worth it houses while always keeping our must have list in mind. He was always super responsive and timely any time we texted or called him. My husband and I have opposite work schedules but Chris is flexible with his schedule and was able to make showing appointments that we both could be there. Chris has a deep understanding of the bid process. He helped us craft the winning bid that was not just ‘this is our max budget’; in Grand Rapid’s competitive market that says a lot!
He understood our fears, calmed our nerves and helped us get a home. I recommend him whole heartedly. I cannot think of one negative hesitation at all. If I had to do it again – I would call Chris. If you want or need a new home Chris is the realtor you are looking to have in this process.

We could not have done it without Pete! In 2022 we had to relocate out of state quickly. We contacted Pete to help us sell our home (we first noticed his sleek blue signs on cool properties around the city--and reviews backed him up). He was a gem! He was quick to respond to all of our questions. The last time we had moved was 20 years ago, and so much about real estate had changed.
