I'm more than thrilled that I had the pleasure of working with Martin from realty of Chicago. Thanks to him I have bought my dream apartment near west loop in Chicago and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
From start to finish.
Throughout the entire process, consistently displayed a genuine commitment. Martin and all his team including the CEO Eddie Garcia went above and beyond to ensure that I had a smooth and stress-free experience, coordinating with other parties involved, attorneys, appraisal, bank loaner and keeping me updated every step of the way. Their professionalism and integrity were truly remarkable. Being a real estate agent is not easy because (us) customers are very eager and we want everything fast but they know how to handle the situation and they always respond to you with positive answers and if a problem approaches they will help you the best way.
Thank you, Martin, Eddie, Claudia, Salvador and Andrew for your exceptional service and your patience. I highly recommend realty of Chicago. If I had the power to give more than five stars I would do it.

One star is more than this realty group deserves. We bought a home with Eddie as the sellers' representing broker. Not once throughout the entire process, that took from the beginning of March 2023 to the transfer of possession in June 2023, did any of our team ever talk with Eddie (who was listed on the closing docs and etc. as the broker). Instead, the entire process was done through his assistant, Liz, who clearly had very little experience, and frankly was not licensed to be a real estate agent.
We saw the home during the first day of the open house, and sent in our offer the same day. It was a Saturday and Eddie/his team did not acknowledge our offer until Monday. Once our offer was accepted, we had to wait for the town inspection to take place, as well as our inspection and etc. Liz informed our agent that the town inspection had taken place and that they were waiting on the report to come back. We followed up for 2 weeks straight and after asking for a copy of the receipt to show that the inspection had been requested, we noticed that the date on the receipt was for that day we asked for it, not 2 weeks earlier. We called Liz out on her lie but tried to keep it civil.
More time goes by and we are told the new town inspection won't take place for another week. At this point, I did not trust that they were going to be on-time and didn't want to delay closing. We had made it clear from the beginning that we wanted to close as soon as possible, and were told that the sellers wanted the same. After the inspection took place the report came back within DAYS. "Thank goodness", we thought! Now we can close and get possession on schedule!
Nope! Now the appraisal keeps getting pushed back due to Liz/Eddie. Even the seller's attorney is not responding to us anymore. We start to get worried and start planning on what would happen if we withdrew our offer. We were fully ready to stop the sale and move on now that we have been in the process for over a month, our rate lock was about to expire, and we didn't want to pay $2k to cover extending it again. We knew that the process would take time but could not afford to lose the inspection money, plus the additional rate lock, plus try to convince our landlord to let us stay another month after we had already given notice.
Finally, the appraisal gets scheduled and we are clear to close. But wait, now the sellers want to push back another 2 weeks because they haven't closed on their new home. Why was that not disclosed at the start??? They could have written it into the contract to protect the sellers. Fine, we are just grateful we are about to close, the sellers agreed to pay for our rate lock, we can wait.
But no it can't be that easy, 2 weeks go by and we reach out again to confirm the transfer of possession. The day of we are told that they need to push back another week. What if we had movers scheduled? Would we be out of that money too?? We pushed back and suddenly they are able to transfer possession after the weekend.
We show up to get the keys and meet the sellers. They were extremely kind! The funny thing is, Liz said throughout the entire process that the family only spoke Spanish, so we wouldn't be able to talk with them directly unless we did too. When we met the sellers they were fluent in English....
Also, Eddie purposefully turned his back to us when we closed at their office and we didn't even get to meet Liz in person. The EXTREME lack of professionalism is ridiculous. Not only will this group cost you time, they WILL cost you and whoever buys your home money. You will need to stay on top of them to do their job. They will provide no guidance to you. Run away.

Israel was my Refin agent. Although the communication started strong, I feel like I was failed as a client. I submitted an offer for a property I was interested in. I was told the seller would respond in about 2 weeks. Weeks pass with no communication ( I followed up with text and calls). I was on pause and missed opportunities to view other properties because he was non responsive. You want your realtor to not drop the ball especially in this market. If you are an investor who is eager to get business done, I would avoid business with him due to slow and non- responsive activities

Realty of Chicago is a phenomenal agency that is serious about doing business. if you are interested in buying, selling, investing, or becoming a realtor than I can't recommend no one else but Eddie Garcia and his team. Don't take my word for it, look at the numbers, Year after years the sales consistently increase, and the company is expanding with no end in sight. At this rate Realty of Chicago will be the next Amazon of real estate, taking over Chicago and devouring their competition. Don't waste your time and money going with wannabe bums, go to only the best in Chicago, REALTY OF CHICAGO!!!! Stop in for a consultation and you won't be disappointed, I will guarantee you will find someone that meets your criteria.
